What are the Default KeepAlive Parameters?
- On Linux you can see the KeepAlive default parameters by viewing the following pseudo files:
$ cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_keepalive_time
900
$ cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_keepalive_intvl
75
$ cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_keepalive_probes
9
- These are the parameter values that are used if you switch KeepAlive on, but don’t specifically use setsockopt() to set the value of each parameter.
